Psychoanalysis is a path of discovering yourself
Psychotherapy is an invitation, a valuable opportunity to listen to yourself and transform yourself deeply.
Psychonalysis? What for?
I have realized, over the years of personal analysis and professional practice, the transformative power that psychotherapy has in our lives.
Grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, insomnia, apathy, phobia, hypochondria, emotional dependence, low self-esteem, relationship and sexuality problems... What's your story?
Regardless of the symptoms and anxieties we carry, the opportunity to hear ourselves from another point of view not only brings valuable insights, but also has the magical power of instigating us to ask: "What is my role in the change I desire?"
And this perspective is liberating! It is precisely this that gives us the power of transformation.
About Psychoanalysis
“Psychotherapy is a transformative experience. You can leave it without the suffering you initially complained about, but at the cost of change. When you leave, you are not the same person without the pain, you are someone else, different.”
Contardo Calligaris
Psychoanalysis is a therapeutic practice developed based on Freud's theory. In it, we seek to get in touch with the unconscious through speech.
Free association is what we call the primary rule of analysis - Free association is nothing more than saying whatever comes to your mind, without filters and without the need to follow any specific logic - because it is in spontaneous speech that the unconscious appears.
When we analyze the symptoms, repetitions and form of anguish through free association, we come into contact with contents that were unconscious until then and thus we are able to develop other possible solutions.
We all have blind spots and having a space to look at them is precisely the purpose of analysis.
